We have been busy creating floral magic and we usually forget to share it with you here! If you don't follow us on Instagram you can find us at @thedaintylionfloralco where we share all the pretty. Anyways here are some of our favorites from this year so far!
Kelsey & Sean // La Quinta Resort
The wedding so good it was featured on TWO major wedding blogs. First over at Style Me Pretty, followed by 100 Layer Cake! This wedding will forever hold a special place in my heart. I fell in love with Kelsey and her mother during our design meeting, where we all fell hard for Heather's design ideas for this one. A bride that loves leopard? Done. My perfect match. There were so many subtle details and nods to the couples interests throughout this wedding, it just turned out so perfect.
We were the first ones to use this stunning hexagon arch from Adore Folklore for a real wedding so we had to introduce it to the wedding world with a bang.
Another subtle nod incorporated throughout the wedding was the brides love for Egyptian history. Noted in the cattails, neutral color tones and the pyramid table numbers-- keep scrolling to see!
This is one of those weddings that as beautiful as it is in photos, it was pure MAGIC in person. The rich velvet linens, sparkly runners, flickering candlelight-- it was perfection.

Rachel & Mike // Bandy Canyon Ranch
I think it is important you all know I have a thing for redheads. It's the hair color I always wished I had. And Rachel's hair is straight out of a Disney movie. Alright done with that sidebar. I loved that this couple wasn't afraid of color for their wedding and kept requesting we go more rich with their colors. Deep colors complimented with vibrant hues is always a challenge we love to take on.
Feast your eyes on what I am calling Mega-Arch. Seriously though, this thing is MASSIVE. Initially, I was planning to do a corner spray piece for the arch but upon arrival decided we needed to ground it and draw the scale in a bit. Having Jurassic park size palm fronds was the key element in the design here, allowing the smaller flowers to have a smaller backdrop to stand against. It is easy to try and overdo it when working with an arch this size but sometimes it just makes sense to create a larger impact by showing restraint in both palette and size because sometimes there is no competeing with an arch this size.

Oh Hey 2018, So Far So Good.
2018 is already off to a good start.
The flowers are especially good this time of year which makes it difficult not to indulge and spend some time creating just to create. To make this year even better I am busy planning a trip to Spain, Morocco and Italy. Cue uncontrollable excitement now.
Good flowers, good colors, good travel.
Got some fresh ink!
Ranunculus are just the best flowers.
Below are our top Instagram posts of 2017. It was a good year. A really good year. If ya couldn't tell, we dig color.
Renee + Jeff // San Digo Botanic Gardens
The wedding so good it has already been copied a few times. haha I can't really blame others for loving it though. Amorology working their magic yet again paired with amazing summer blooms and a rad couple is a recipe for bohemian goodness.
Renee requested we make each of her bridesmaids a slightly unique bouquet so they could feel extra special.

Something about Salt Lake City creatives makes them really special. When Jen from As Ever Photography reached out about collaborating on her trip out to San Diego I knew I was in for some insanely beautiful images. Something about film photography makes my heart full. Also there is something to be said about moody springtime flowers. As featured on Magnolia Rouge.
ALSO!! Magnolia Rouge selected this bouquet as one of the top 25 of 2017!!!
